While on tour together this summer, The Dresden Dolls teamed up with headliners Panic! At The Disco to film a video for The Dolls newest single, "Backstabber."
Midway through the tour, DD's Amanda Palmer had a revelation, "Why not make a video with these guys? They're here, they're bored like we are, they're hilarious." She shared in her onlineblog. "We aren't making a 'real' video for our next single,' She proclaimed. "'What's more real than this?' We keep asking. Nothing."
"It..s not something that..s going to be an official release to go to MTV, it..s just that we were on tour with them and they came up with this idea to kind of do a funny thing." Panic! At The Disco..s drummer, Spencer Smith, recently told online publication,Undercover. "It was just something that we were having fun doing at the time while being on tour and just something I guess for the fans of either of our bands to kinda see. It..s just a fun bonus thing."
"People are just arrogant and ignorant." Panic! frontman Brendon Urie tolddose.camidway into the tour regarding inspiration for the video. "We're actually going to make a movie with the Dresden Dolls about that one thing [the fans fighting] to kind of poke fun at our fans for not being nice to each other."

패닉애들 짐짝에 들어가 있는게 재밌던데....^^

Amanda Palmer와Brian Viglione의 2인조 밴드.

자신들의 음악 스타일을Brechtian Punk Cabaret이라고 하더군요.

아마다 팔머의 목소리가 개성있으면서 멋지기도 하고 음악적 재능이 넘쳐 보여요.

이들은 제가 공연보고 싶은 밴드중 하나예요.

AFI - This Time Imperfect 등등

현재 독일에 가 있는 AFI

독일 라디오 방송국에 출연 거기서 30명쯤 모아다가 그앞에서

작은 라이브공연도 하고 인터뷰도 했다.

따로 무대가 있는 곳에서 라이브 한게 아니라서 밴드와 관객사이의 거리가 짧아서

팬들이 찍은 사진을 보니 거의 들이밀다 싶이 했던거 같다.

그리고 많이들 피곤해 보여서.. 특히 데이비는 거의내내 눈감고 노래를 부르다시피했다.

그런데, 나탈리 포트만.. 입고 있는 옷이랑 머리와의 갭이 크군요.

MTV Pre VMA Party

MTV Pre Party에서 metal Skool하고 공연한거 보고 싶었는데,

오늘 검색해보니깐 있네. ^^

처음에 잠깐 나오길래 후딱 캡쳐를 했다.

데이비랑 타이슨 리터. 그런데 묘하게 찍혀부렸네.

AFI와 the All-American Rejects는 같은 레이브 소속이래서...

VMA전날 찍힌 사진들 보니깐 레이블 별로 전야파티 하던데...

AAR은 구경만 한거 같다.

짧게 편집된 영상이라서 아쉽지만,순서는 Davey Havok,David Draiman ,Bam Margera,e-40 & Lil John,M shadow 그나저나 Davey! 헉 머틀리 크루의 곡을 이리 잘 소화할 줄이야.^^하긴 목소리톤을 생각하면 머틀리 크루의 곡하고 잘 어울리긴하쥐.M Shadow는 넘 조금 나와서 아쉽다. 아래 영상은 Davey가 더 많이 나오길래...

Perfume : The Story of a Murderer (2006)

파트리크 쥐스킨트의 소설을 바탕으로 만든 영화.

독일에선 이미 프리미어 시사회를 가진거 같고

미국,영국에선 12월달에 선보인다고 하더군요.

우리나라도 곧 개봉하겠죠?

책으로 오래전에 읽었는데, 영화 개봉하기전에 한번 더 읽고 싶네요.

그나저나 레이첼 허드우드는 3년전에 피터팬에 나왔던 소녀인데,

언제 저리 컸는지... 서양소녀들은 정말 빨리도 크네요.
