AFI는 해체 안 했고, 음악은 AFI랑은 틀림. (Jade말씀)

이곡 자체는 사실 마이스페이스에 공개 된지는 한참 됏는데, 블로그를 쉬는 바람에 잽싸게  못 올려부렸음.

프로모션 사진은 최근에 공개 한건데 실루엣 처리. 둘다 머리를 자른듯.

그런데, 5월21일 AFI공연 동영상 보면 머리 안 잘랐던데, 이미지는 24일에 올라온거 같던데 그새 짜른건지...

음 어쨌거나, 기대만땅~!

5월22일 발매.
바로 오늘.

국내에 제때 나올려나 모르겠다.
끝내 라이센스 안된 두번째 앨범을 생각하면 -.-;;
국내에 나오느냐 마느냐는 앨범의 성공여부에 달릴듯.

마이스페이스 가면 전곡을 들을 수 있게 해 놨음.
솔직히 첫번째 앨범 같은 앨범은 아니긴한데,
그래도 상당히 좋다는 것.
쑥쑥 박히는 멜로디에 공들여서 곡을 만든거 같다.
코러스도 돋보이고........
곡 전체적으로 들었을때 버릴 곡 없이 골고루 다 좋다는 것.

개인적으로 듣기에는 MCR신보 들었을때보다 조금 더 마음에 든다.

첫 싱글은 The Bird And The Worm지만
처음 들은 곡이 이곡이라............

이번 앨범의 Infinity on High 라는 타이틀은  빈센트 반고흐가 동생 테오에게 보내는 편지에서 따온 거라고 합니다.

프로듀서중 한명이 Babyface에다가 Jay-Z도 게스트로 참여했다고 그런거 같고, Kanye West가

수록곡중 한 곡을 리믹스했단 얘기도 있네요. 그래서 그런지 몇몇곡은 전하고는 좀 다른 느낌도 나긴하네요.

This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race 이곡 빼곤(개인적으로 별로여서...)  나머지 곡들은 무난하니 좋네요.

특히 마지막 트랙이 맘에 드네요.

아래 곡은 첫싱글 일줄 알았는데 아니군요.

어쨌든 새 앨범에 실릴 곡입니다.

은근히 앨범을 자주 내는거 같다.

50개주 프로젝트도 해내랴 그 외의 앨범도 내랴......

어쨋거나 이 앨범은

2001년도 부터 친구와 가족을 위해 해마다 녹음한거라는데,

크리스마스 캐롤송 및 자신의 곡도 추가해서

5장짜리 박스셋으로 발매.

O Come OCome Emmanuel은 가사가 좀 틀릴수 있어요.

인터넷에서 검색해서 그냥 갖다 붙인거라....

80년대의 Jrock 밴드 'BOOWY'의 보컬이었던

히무로 쿄스케의 'In The Mood'앨범에 AFI의 커버곡이 있다해서

기다리던 끝에 마침내 들을수 있게 됐네요. 일본블로그에서 소식을 접하고

무지 궁금해 했었거든요. 일본음악에 대해선 아는게 많질 않아서,

BOOWY가 호테이 토모야스가 기타리스트로 있었던 밴드라는 정도만 알고 있었죠.

들어보니, 유난히 끝의 발음이 강하군요.^^ 

게다가 낯선 느낌은 어쩔수 없군요. 그렇다고 나쁘다는건 아니지만......

아 그리고 Pain이란 곡은 Jimmy Eat World의 곡을 커버한 겁니다.
